THE MODEL

    THE MODEL is a stunning visual multi-media theatre performance from England featuring a six foot puppet. The puppet is skilfully brought to life as a fashion model and taken through her paces by two manipulator/puppeteers who become her dressers, agents, fans, journalists and finally - surgeons as her story progresses. The performance includes film and photographs of the "swinging sixties" model Jean Shrimpton who collaborated on the production. Jean was the first model to wear the mini skirt.

THE MODEL has been created by IDOLRICH theatre company from Hastings in England and has just come from the puppet festival in Brest, Belarus. The performance depends on choreography and visual image and uses very little language.
