The Centre for Theatre Practices Gallery

is located in the centuries old basement labyrinth under our premises in 5a Grodzka street in Lublin.

Gallery project is focused on temporary exhibitions of renowned and young artists, some of them linked with the events launched by the Centre for Theatre Practices. Lectures and meetings with artists accompany exhibitions.

The exhibition inspired by research of the "Gardzienice" Centre for Theatre Practices. Consists of the materials from "Gardzienice" archives and multimedia presentations.

Exposition of Rita's Handbags

Rita's handbags are more like pictures. Designed by students: Iza Gkagkanis
(Arts Acadamy, Warsaw) and Alicja Chludzinska (Arts Academy, Gdansk),
they were designed for sophisticated
people and inspired by folklore motives
and ornaments. Some are a kind
of osteentatious joke, others are like
a sentiment, all being produced with
lots of imagination and wit.
