Research on ancient
music, reconstructing the relics of ancient music, arranging and
adapting them to be performed by the Orchestra.
ancient instruments based on iconography in cooperation with the
experts on old instruments, musicologists and traditional musicians.
Work on vocal techniques
originating from various singing traditions based on music material.
Work on the techniques
of playing the reconstructed string, wind and percussion instruments.
traditional musicians and musicologists from Southern and Central
Europe, Middle East and North Africa in order to explore the connections
between contemporary traditional music and ancient music.
research work carried by the Orchestra and recording of the arranged
Education - a programme
of popularising foundations and sources of European music among
students and secondary schools pupils.
Ancient Orchestra performs

In year 2003/2004 the Ancient Orchestra realises the project
